A new colleague who is looking for a great adventure in an extraordinary environment and who will become the junior events officer of the Belgian pavilion at the next World Expo, Expo 2025 Osaka. Someone who is eager to be part of a big international project, who establishes and maintains contacts smoothly and who can structure and follow up well.
Join our pavilion team:
We would like to strengthen our team in Osaka with a member of staff who assists with all the events of the pavilion. As junior events officer you will assist the events manager with the execution of all the events at our pavilion. The Belgian pavilion will organise its own events as well as host events organised by clients and partners. Further we will cooperate with other pavilions, organisations and Expo 2025 Osaka in joint events.
As junior events officer you will need to be highly flexible with regards to your actual working hours.

The job is very varied. At the Expo, no single day resembles the previous or the next. Therefore, we are looking for a flexible and agile minded person, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
JOB CONTENT
Some of your tasks will include (non-exhaustive list):
- Support for events organised in the Belgian pavilion (operational support, hospitality management (in cooperation with the HR & administration manager), food & beverages, technical set-up and support, logistical support)
- Support for incoming delegations, VIP and group visits to the Belgian pavilion
- Reporting
- Cooperation with the communication officer and protocol and content officer
