BelExpo at the opening of Terra - the Sustainability Pavilion

Expo 2020 Dubai has treated us to something very exciting. On January 22nd the Sustainability Pavilion - Terra - opened up to the public. Our Pavilion Director, Myriam Cops, was given the opportunity to witness the grand opening. We would like to take you along on our visit and get you warmed up to make it the destination of your next trip.

The 1,055 solar panels on Terra – the Sustainability Pavilion’s 130-metre wide canopy – help generate 4GWh of alternative energy per year, enough electricity to charge more than 900,000 mobile phones.
