The next world exhibition will take place in Japan from 13 April to 13 October 2025 under the theme 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives'.

In April 2025, the World Exhibition Expo 2025 Osaka will open its doors to millions of visitors. Belgium will participate in that expo after the successful edition of Expo 2020 Dubai. Several companies support Belgium's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka. We would not be able to realise the Belgian participation without their support.

BelExpo is launching the public tender for the design, construction, maintenance and dismantling of the Belgian pavilion for the world expo that will take place in Osaka from 13 April to 13 October 2025.

In October 2022, the very first IPM took place in preparation for Expo 2025 Osaka. The representatives of the participating countries travelled down to Osaka Kansai, Japan, for this purpose. BelExpo was also able to travel to Osaka for the occasion for a first official visit to the city and the exhibition site.
Today, Thursday 8 December 2022, during the official Signing Ceremony in Osaka, the Belgian government will formally confirm its participation in the next World Expo, namely Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai.
In December of 2022 BelExpo participated in the Belgian Economic Mission to Japan. Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium presided over the Mission. BelExpo attended activities in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka & Kyoto.
