OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTNERS

In April 2025, the World Exhibition Expo 2025 Osaka will open its doors to millions of visitors. Belgium will participate in that expo after the successful edition of Expo 2020 Dubai. Several companies support Belgium's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka. We would not be able to realise the Belgian participation without their support.

The main theme of Expo 2025 Osaka is 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives', with Belgium focusing on the sub-theme 'Saving Lives' during the expo. We will showcase our know-how, innovations, scientific achievements and technical capabilities in the 'Saving Lives' field.

We are currently in the preparation phase for Expo 2025 Osaka. The public tender for the design, construction, maintenance and dismantling of the Belgian pavilion was launched in November 2022. BelExpo will continue to work with the remaining candidate consortia on a concrete proposal over the next few months. The tender includes the construction of the pavilion itself, including the design of the general areas. The content of the exhibition, also known as the scenography, and the look & feel of the public spaces, including the restaurant, shop and roof terrace, are not included in this tender. A new public tender will be launched for that second part of the pavilion later this year.

The remaining candidates will make every effort to propose as complete and impressive a Belgian pavilion as possible within the budget. In doing so, they could of course use help and support. Any additional support could ensure that the Belgian pavilion is elevated from an average pavilion to an extraordinary and spectacular one.

In return for the support partners can offer, they can count onseveral benefits such as visibility, exclusive invitations, private use of certain areas of the pavilion, and so on. While partners will support the final winner of the public tender, they will become partners of the Belgian pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka and BelExpo will guarantee the possible benefits.

Supporting the construction of the Belgian pavilion can be done in various ways: financially or in kind. The latter can be done, for example, by offering materials, products, technologies or services. This is therefore the perfect opportunity to make your own specialities tangible in the Belgian pavilion, so that our thousands of visitors or perhaps your own guests can witness them.

Moreover, you can make a difference with your organisation and play an important role in the design and construction of the Belgian pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka. A win-win for all parties!
