Nicolas Godelet 戈建 Architects & Engineers has more than 15 years' experience and has taken his inspiration from the landscapes of our regions. And the paintings that depict them. The spotlight will therefore be on the sky and its clouds.
The project combines unspoiled areas and a constructed garden. A grass-covered plain and hill will stand alongside structured hedges and symmetrical architecture. The plants, flowers and stones are typically Belgian. The architect is even exporting our clouds, in a nod to our climate.
The millions of visitors to the horticultural exhibition will be able to stroll around and discover Belgium through its works of art. And, of course, enjoy its specialities.
